Postal employees have been involved in trainings on the organization the public service in the field of electronic appeal for targeted social assistance (VIDEO)
As a continuation of the work done on the application of Single Electronic Application and Nomination Sub-System (VEMTAS) on targeted state social assistance, the trainings for the staff of post offices in Baku city was held organized jointly by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population and the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies. Deputy minister of communications and high technologies Elmir Valizadeh brought to the attention that purposeful work had been done jointly with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, in accordance with the Decree of the head of state dated February 23, 2015. "Already applying for targeted state social assistance and the process of appointment of assistance will be more simple and flexible over the "E-government" portal. The average monthly income, expenses, general financial and housing conditions of citizen will be assessed in detail, by using information resources and systems of more than 20 state agencies for the last 12 months before his (her) appeal. The appropriate measures in order to establish the necessary technical capacity in all post offices for electronic appeal for targeted social assistance are taken. Thus, in the initial stage, the relevant activities for the installation of information kiosks in 30 post offices in the city of Baku and in central post offices of 40 districts are carried out. Such an information kiosk has been operating in Baku city postal center ". E.Valizadeh stated that the work for successful implementation of the new system will be carried out continuously. Note that each person who has access to the Internet can benefit from this service over www.e-gov.az "E-Government" portal through computers, mobile devices. At the event, the deputy minister of labour and social protection of population Ilgar Rahimov the implementation of VEMTAS on targeted state social assistance has been started, as the successful implementation of the Decree of the President of Azerbaijan Mr.Ilham Aliyev dated February 23, 2015: "This new system provides an opportunity to appeal for the receipt of targeted state social assistance, consideration of the appeals, decision making on whether to appoint assistance or not, the implementation of the process of providing information to the applicant in this connection in a fully automated and transparent conditions. The citizens representing the families can apply via "Making the appeal on targeted social assistance" e-service on "E-government" or the website of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population (www.mlspp.gov.az) through the computers, mobile phones, and etc. for the receipt of targeted state social assistance. At the same time, an opportunity to appeal in electronic form has been also created for citizens faced difficulties in the post offices in the making electronic appeal for the receipt of targeted state social assistance, as the alternative variant. For this purpose a computer and an employee for rendering relevant technical assistance to citizens is allocated in post offices". Then, the head of the department of Information Technologies of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population Elnur Majidov gave detailed practical explanations about the Single Electronic Application and Nomination Sub-System, making appeals by the citizens for the receipt of targeted state social assistance in electronic form, the obligations of the persons who are responsible for this area in post offices. E. Majidov also answered the questions training participants. It is planned to organize trainings for the employees of post offices in all regions of the republic.
